She was born in Western Samoa and raised in the village of Fagali'i-Uta. She came to Honolulu, HI in the 1980s and was employed at many places until she finally settled as a Caregiver (about 15 years) for Dr.Hockwald until he passed away. She was known as a hardworking woman. She loved her flowers and plants, especially her papaya tree in the back of our house and cared for them until she could no more.
Life without her has been tough on many of us and we will never forget what she meant to us. She was a beautiful God-fearing woman who put all her trust in the Lord from when she woke up until she fell asleep. God blessed us with her loving presence and whoever knew her felt a great impact from her warm loving smile, motherly nature, and her unselfish deeds. She always put you before herself and all with a heart of gold. She loved her whole entire Family and did whatever she could to make sure we were happy and well. There is no other person who can compare to our dearest Mother. She will forever be missed and embedded into our hearts.
