Not too long ago I started calling you mom.  I didn't know just how much that meant to you, but talking to friends and family they would tell me or Pennee how much you loved it.  After losing my mother when I was just 11 yrs. old I never thought I could ever call someone else mom but the more I said it the more comfortable I became saying it.  It also made me feel good as well.  Even though we lived thousands of miles apart talking to you on the phone was always nice.  You are in a place now where all of us will be some time in the future and we will be reunited.  May you rest in peace MOM.  You will always be remembered.  Your son, Dennis

Mom, It has been 2 long months but you will finally be at peace and back with daddy soon.  Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.  I still go to the phone to call you and then it breaks my heart knowing that I will never get to speak to you again. I remember driving by in my pink Cadillac in Manhattan Beach...saw your Mom waiting for the bus.  She remembered me as Pennee's friend and I gave her a ride home.  She loved that car! Mom, I was in awe of your strength and your talent.  There wasn't anything you couldn't do.  You had an amazing voice and golden hands.  I miss so much our three hour conversations on the phone.  The many laughs and some times the tears.  You were always extremely generous to Dennis and I and we will never forget that. Although it breaks our hearts that we will never get to see your beautiful face again or hear you say "I love you", we can take comfort in knowing that you and daddy are together once again.  You were the love of his life.  Your spirit will live in our hearts forever.  May you and daddy rest in peace up in beautiful Kaneohe.  We miss you and love you.

My Mom used to sing opera and had such a beautiful voice. She was multi-talented. She was very creative. She was a great cook and taught me at 9 years old. She made beautiful dresses for myself and sister when we were little. She made dolls that were absolutely gorgeous. I will always remember her telling us to ”Be an Individual”. I love you Mom.  You are with Daddy now. Rest In Peace. Aloha Nui Loa.
