Veronica Margaret Peters Akiona, 82, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away on October 8th. Veronica was born in Honolulu and was a Retired Medical Records Technician. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Akiona; son, Scott Akiona; daughters, Anona Gabriel, Gordean Akiona, Wendy Libed; brother, Flavious Peters Jr.; sisters, Dorothy Silva, Shirley Richardson; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on November 6th at Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel located at 1330 Maunakea St in Honolulu. Visitation at 11:00am and service at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at 3:00pm at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific located at 2177 Puowaina Dr in Honolulu.
