Wilfred “Babe” Yau Sing Chung, 84, of Pearl City, passed away October 6, 2011 at his residence. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired analyst and sales representative for Union Oil Company of California (Unocal) and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by son, Jeffrey (Grace) Chung of San Diego; daughters, Beverly Y.H. (John) Lau of Pearl City, Cynthia Chung of Waipahu, Deanna Rasmussen of Honolulu, Ellen Marie (Randal) Fujita of Kaneohe; brother, George (Bertha) Chu; sisters, Grace (Paul) Young, Elsie (Gilbert) Mau; grandchildren, Steven Chung, Timothy Chung, Justin Lau, Jordan Lau, Amanda Fujita, Joseph Rasmussen.
Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2011, at Borthwick Mortuary-Makai Chapel; service 11:00 a.m.; burial 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Aloha attire.
