Yuriko Nakanishi Enomoto

She was born in Ashiya Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Yuriko was deeply loved and will be missed dearly by her family. She is survived by, husband, Lawrence M. G. Enomoto; sons, Francis (Linda) Enomoto and Stephen (Lori) Enomoto; daughter, Yuri-Anne (Thomas) McHugh; grandchildren, Branden, Rachel, Erika, Terrence and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Emily, Ethan, Paige, Grace, Koby and Kyra; sisters, Kiyoko Wada and Misao Nakanishi; and many nieces and nephews.

Yuriko met her husband, Lawrence, in 1955 when he was assigned to Ashiya Air Base in Kyushu, Japan, where she worked. They were married in Fukuoka, Japan the following year. Their three children were born at military hospitals in Japan, Texas and Massachusetts. Yuriko became a US citizen in 1964. She and Lawrence enjoyed travelling to many countries in Asia and Europe.

Services will be held on August 7, 2023 at Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel.

Visitation at 4:30 pm; Service at 5:30 pm.
