Cathy Goins Campbell

Ms. Cathy Campbell peacefully and quietly joined Jesus; her mother, Mrs. Elvia Buckner Goins; her father, Mr. Champ Goins, her three brothers, Glenn Goins, Watis Goins and Acy Goins; her sister Thelma Pruitt, and her sister (niece) Debra Huff, on Saturday, December 17, 2011.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her five sisters, Frances Brewington, Shirley Goins, Etta Myers, Patricia Black, and Charlotte Paul; her godchild, Mary Paul; and many nieces and nephews.

Ms. Cathy Campbell was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on August 28, 1951. She was raised by her loving mother and father along with eight other siblings and her niece, who was like a sister to her. At a young age she gave her life to the Lord Jesus. She was a dedicated Christian who trusted the Lord in every situation. Ms. Campbell was a first grade teacher at Parkton Elementary. She was an elementary school teacher for eighteen years. She was a dedicated, hard working teacher who was loved by her students. She was a very generous, intelligent, and caring person, who will be greatly missed.

The family will received friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2011 at Reeves Funeral Home, and at other times 2517 Cumberland Road, Fayetteville.

Funeral services were conducted at 12:00 noon, Tuesday December 20, 2011 at Seminole Stret Church with Rev. Jerry groves officiating.

She was laid to rest in the Goins Family Cemetery.
