Chari was an absolutely beautiful woman, both inside and out. She had a heart of gold and a fierce soul. She stood up for what she believed in and never backed down. When it came to children, even if they weren’t her own, she would go to battle for them. She loved her children with a love so strong that it will be felt for all of eternity. She was the anchor of her family and held them close at all times. Her grandchildren were especially important to her and she relished being called “Mimi”. She was able to support her husband during his military career by taking care of the children, the home, and making sure things ran smoothly. She will always be remembered for her tenacity, never letting life’s struggles get in her way, or keep her down. Chari’s voice of reason will resound in her family’s hearts and mind forever. Her light may have gone out, but it will never be forgotten.
Chari is preceded in death by her father, Donald Arthur Allen; her sister, Mary Allen; and her parents-in-love, who she was especially close to, Kenneth and Charlotte Rowell.
Chari is survived by the love of her life, Kenneth Rowell; her children, Kelly Cotten and her husband, Robert, Janessa Alexander, and Michael Rowell and his wife, Rachelle; her grandchildren, Alexa, Dylan, Sophia, Kenneth, Ayden, and Russel; her mother, Sandra Allen; her siblings, Stacey Allen-Jannetty, Tami Wenner, and Robert Allen; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
