He was born December 21, 1936 in Centralia, Illinois to the late Clifford and Lena Swan Ring.
Mr. Ring was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Ring; and sisters, Corrina and June Ring.
Left to cherish his memories are wife, Ross Ann Ring of the home; son, Tony Ring of Hope Mills; daughter, Dana Faircloth of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Tiffany Frick, Troy Locklear, Jr., Colby Locklear, Samantha Ring, and Andrea Alfano; great-grandchild, Mason Frick; and sister Beverly Ring Perry.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Reeves Funeral Home
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with the rendering of full military honors. Pastor Scot McCosh will be officiating the service.
