He was born March 21, 1934 in Uniontown, Kentucky to the late John William and Anna Shaffer Bebout.
Dorris served his country and retired from the US Army with 20 years of exemplary service.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by his wife of 45 years Ellen Bebout and a number of brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Reeves Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Family Community Baptist Church. Interment will be held with full military honors on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC.
Surviving are sons, Thomas and Douglas Bebout; sisters, Wanda Blevins, Linda Greenwell, Bonnie Young, Peggy Turner, Shelia Zenker; brothers Billy, Donnie, Freddie, Roger, Benjamin and Kenny Bebout.
