Edgar Carter, 83,of Parkton died Thursday, February 5,2015 at home.
Mr. Carter was a native of Cumberland County. He was predeceased in death by his father, Willie Carter, his mother, Margie Carter. A daughter, Tonya (Carter) Barker. Four brothers; Willis Carter, Colombus Carter, Clenn Carter and Teat Carter. One sister, Marie (Carter) Prestridge.
Mr. Carter is survived by two daughters; Evannia Lowry and LaDonna Boza.Two brothers; Cleve Carter and Jimmy Carter. Three sisters Louise Gomboa, Hazel Sanchez and Tiny Munguia. 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Special friends, Kathy and Nina Scoggins and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Cape Fear Baptist Church at 3:00 P. M. Burial will follow in the Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P. M. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills, N. C.
