Frank Covington

Frank was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of VFW Post 10. He passionately volunteered at Stonewall Rural Fire Dept. and Tarheel Fire Dept. He also volunteered his time to the Red Cross, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. Frank was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Sherwood Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, with Pastor Kim Justice officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service, in the church reception hall.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Kenny and Phyllis Covington.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 22 years, Ursula Covington; three sons, Jeff Covington, Brandon Brochu, and Joe Covington; daughter, Jess Covington; best friend, Brandon Page; two sisters, Mary Vernet and Carmen Covington; mother-in-law, Sharon Brochu; father-in-law, Raymond Brochu; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; two nieces; and four nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stonewall Rural Fire Dept., 5569 St. Pauls Rd., Raeford, NC 28376.

Frank was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
