George Thomas Raynor

Mr. George Thomas “Tommy” Raynor, age 69, of Dunn, died Sunday Morning, January 22, 2017 at his home. Mr. Raynor was born in Harnett County on November 24, 1947 the son of the late George Edward & Grace Elizabeth Raynor and is preceded in death brothers, Kenneth E. Raynor and Eddie Raynor. Tommy started working with his father in the logging business and continued on his own until retiring. He was a member of Glad Tidings Church in Dunn and served many capacities of the church through the years. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 11:00 am at Glad Tidings Church in Dunn with Rev. Tim Rice officiating. He is survived by: his wife: Fran Palmer Raynor of the home. Daughters: Margie Hughes & (husband) Darren of Dunn, NC and Mary Jo Satterfield & (husband) Todd of Coats, NC. Grandchildren: Sophia & Isaac Hughes Brothers: Larry E. Raynor & (wife) Judy and David C. Raynor & (wife) Sue both of Linden, NC. Sister: Carolyn Grant & (husband) Steve of Linden, NC Sister-in-Law: Barbara Raynor of Linden, NC The family will receive friends Thursday Morning, January 26, 2017 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Glad Tidings Church, one hour prior to the service.
