It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Trudy Creazzo. A trailblazing, independent spirit who walked through life to the beat of her own drum. From the beginning, Trudy was never one to stay quiet or go along just because it was easy. She stood firmly for what she believed in and lived with a fiery conviction that left a mark on everyone who knew her. Trudy passed away on May 22, 2025. She was 79 years old.
When Trudy loved you, she loved you fiercely. Her love was protective, and unwavering, the kind of love that made you feel safe. Her family was always her greatest priority, and nothing meant more to her than her grandson and great-grandson. The way her eyes lit up when she looked at them could melt the hardest of hearts, so present, so full of joy. Though she loved us all deeply, there was a special sparkle in her eyes, extra Irish green, saved just for them.
Trudy lived out her calling not just at home, but in the world. She earned her degree in Behavioral Science from Cal State Fullerton and became a Victims Witness Advocate, dedicating herself to the protection and empowerment of women and children. For those who couldn’t find their voice, Trudy became one. For those who couldn’t protect themselves, she was there, strong, fearless, and compassionate.
Her wisdom, warrior spirit, strength, and sass will live on in all of us. Trudy was so many things to so many people: Wife, Mother, Mamaw, and Gigi, but always Trudy. We will carry her memory with us forever, honoring her legacy with love, laughter, and the strength she gave us all.
Trudy is survived by her husband Tony of nearly 62 years, her two children Dean and Nina Jo, two grandchildren Jared and Miss Ashley and her great grandson handsome Anson.
