Gwendolyn was born on September 21, 1948 in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late James and Edith Sowers Proffit. She worked much of her life as an office manager for various auto dealerships.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Reeves Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in Reeves Funeral Home Chapel.
Those left to mourn her passing include her husband, Gary Klann; children, Jennifer Kilgore (Daniel) and Eric Klann; siblings, Sharron Lovell and Betty Hicks and one grandchild, Finn Kilgore.
