He served in the U.S. Army for over twelve years, with an MOS with the Laundry and Bath Service, and 16th Field Company stationed at Ft. Lee, Virginia. His career took him all the way to Giessen Germany where he was stationed for a few years. He was an avid bowler and played on many leagues. He loved the Redskins and was a huge fan of the Washington Nationals.
Left to cherish his memories is wife Brenda Carter, of 36 years. Two sons, Jason Carter, wife Jennifer, Marshal Carter wife Desiree, one daughter Catina Carter, two sisters Laura Flemmings, husband Chaz, Marilyn Matheny, significant other Lynn. Five grandchildren, Gina, Hayley, Kenny, Cordell and wife Kamica, and baby Carter. Two great grandchildren. Elijah and Jada; many nieces and nephews, and a very cherished cousin Andrew Dobbins and wife, Laverne.
He will be deeply missed by his two fur babies, Amy- Lou and Baby Bo.
