Kevin was a U.S. Navy man and served on the U.S.S. Cole, which was bombed October 12, 2000. Kevin was onboard the ship at the time of the bombing.
Kevin loved being a friend. He would drop whatever he had going on to help anyone in need. He was also extremely devoted to his family, especially his children.
Kevin was a loving and devoted father, son, nephew, and friend. He is survived by the mother of his children, Jamie Hyde. He also leaves behind his children Sharon Danae Hyde, Naomi Rose Hyde, and Porter Cole Hyde; his parents Dennis and Donna Hyde; His aunt Sharon Hyde (Roy Stallings); his uncles Gary Hyde (Debbie), Joe Hyde (Nellie), and Kimble Hyde; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home.
