Mr. Larry F. Joyner, Sr., age 74, of Lofton Street., Wade died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Cornerstone Nursing & Rehab in Dunn. Mr. Joyner was born November 5, 1940 in Durham County the son of the late Melvin Braxton Joyner & Ida McLenor McPhail and is preceded in death by a Sister, Peggy Vitti. He was a retired Truck Driver and avid fisherman. He enjoyed cooking & spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by: 2 Daughters: Audrey Lawrence & (husband) Mike of Tipp City, Ohio Eileen Joyner & (fiancé) Ronnie Barefoot of Lillington, NC 4 Sons: Larry F. Joyner, Jr. & (wife) Linda of Lima, Ohio Delano Joyner of Benson, NC Travis Joyner & (wife) Beth of Lima, Ohio John G. Joyner of Benson, NC A Sister: Diane Nunnery & (husband) Butch of Wade, NC 13 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandson The family will receive friends Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn.
