I want to let you know you are in our thoughts, please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Nana was a wonderful person and treated me like I was one of her own.  I will cherish the fond memories I have of her forever!

Paula, I'm so sorry to hear about your mother.  However, I also rejoice to know she's in a much better place.  We know that in heaven we'll be free of pain & suffering.  So Linda's rejoicing with her heavenly Father.  I remember when Daddy died she took Van and kept him from the time we started making funeral arrangements until after the funeral.  I'll never forget such an awesome gift during my grief.  We'll be keeping all of you in our prayers.

Paula and family, please know we shall miss your wonderful mother.  She was a joy to know.  She loved her Lord and wasn't ashame to let people know about her Lord.  Will pray for peace and strength.  Right now she is singing and praising her God.

Linda has been like a member of our family for so many years and has done so much for us and with us. She helped my sister Pamela with Emily and Em still calls her Nana to this day. My mom is here and very sick herself and is very sad today that her friend is gone. They have just recently been able to see each other thanks to Paula bringing her Mom over to  my mom's. We as a family are thankful Linda was a part of our lives and we look forward to reuniting with her someday in heaven. Our prayers go out to all you who are hurting and will be missing her tremendously in the days ahead. May God comfort you all. Tina Edwards Bell

Dear Burris Family,

We were very saddened to hear of Linda's passing but rejoice that she is with the Lord!  She was so very kind to us when we were living in Hope Mills and providing daycare for Josh.  We always enjoyed our time together.  We will be unable to attend the service on Thursday but will be lifting up your family in prayer.  We know God will give you strength in the days ahead.
