Mildred Joyce Smith McLamb, born May 1st, 1931, went to meet her savior, Jesus Christ Our Lord on May 22, 2016. She frequently stated, "The day I was saved was the best day of my life.". She is now wrapped in Jesus's arms, receiving her rewards.
JC McLamb, her devoted husband, left for home Sept. 25, 2013. They are together again for eternity in Heaven.
They are survived by their children Deborah (Paul) Richter, Vicki (Charles) Musselwhite, Jeffery (Barbara) McLamb and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
She was a member of Hope Mills Church of God and enjoyed worshipping there for 44 or more years, eight of which she taught Sunday school. She considered them her family also. We were blessed to have had her in our lives and she will be greatly missed!
