Rawson Monroe Bennett

Rawson was a loving, generous soul with a heart of gold. He loved fishing, woodworking, can classic cars, especially his MGA. He also loved his country and served in the United States Army. He retired as Sergeant 1st Class. He was also a Gulf War Veteran.

Rawson is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Arianna Rose Bennett; his father, Rawson Henry Bennett, his brother, Anthony Bennett, and his sister, Laura Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Strickland Bennett; his daughter, Deanna Ward (Daniel); his grandchildren, Danielle McAdoo (Michael), Michael Jacobs, David Janes, and Kayla Janes; his great-grandchildren, Michael McAdoo and Charlie McAdoo; his mother, Ida Bennett; his step-mother, Gloria Bennett; his sister, Lisa Bennett Little (Shawn); his brother, John Bennett; his nieces, Crystal Gandolfo, and Lynsey Burns; his nephews, Tristan Burns, Cody Bennett, Zane Bennett, and Justin Bennett; and his sisters-in-law, Laurie Murphy (Wayne) and Donna Gandolfo. He will also be greatly missed by his beloved cat, Buddy.
