

Mr. Wynn was born April 13, 1934, in Martin County, Virginia the son of the late Sylvester Wynn and Annie Lilly Wynn and is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Barefoot Wynn; his first wife, Ola G. Revels-Wynn.
He is also preceded in death by a son, Barney M. Bagwell; five brothers, James Bryant Wynn, Robert Edwards Wynn, Clarence Thomas Wynn, Louis Cleo Wynn, and William Wynn, and one sister, Francis Whitfield. He is also preceded in death by one son-n-law Kenneth Wayne Parker.
Rufus, retired at the age 81, from the former Dunn Auto Auction. He formerly worked for Winns Nursery in Virginia and Champion Manufacture, in Dunn. A hard worker ready to lend a helping at any time to anyone. He loved the outdoors, Jesus Christ and his Yorkie Lucy. He attended Corinth Freewill Baptist Church.
Mr. Wynn is survived by: A Son: Jimmy Ray Bagwell
Daughters: Connie Burgess (Denny), Lisa Tyndall and Sherry Parker.
Brothers: Larry Wynn and Jeffrey Wynn
Sisters: Grace, Faye & Christine
Two half-brothers and one half-sister.
Six Grandchildren Brandon Burgess (Amy), Jamie Burgess, Nicholas Burgess, Mary Ola James, Jimmy Bagwell, Jr., and Michael Bagwell, and 24 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his loyal companion his yorkie Lucy.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 9:30 a.m., until 10:30 a.m. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home.
A graveside service will follow on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Corinth Free Will Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Michael McNeil, officiating.
