

Mrs. Susan Lee Jenkins, 58, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, May 6, 2012. She was born December 10, 1953 in Shreveport, LA. After graduating from high school she was employed with the FBI in DC, where she met her future husband. By being born into a military family and then marrying a military man she traveled extensively in and out of the United States. She moved to Fayetteville in 2007 after the death of her husband. She was the Vice-Queen of the Primrose Pearls Red Hats Society Chapter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith D. Jenkins and her parents Gene and Ellen Wilson. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Thelma Wilson, of Boise, ID; her sister and brother-in-law, Terry and Edward Perry, of Fayetteville, NC; her brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Vicki Wilson, of Bowling Green, KY; her niece and husband, Mechele and Scott Whalen, of Hope Mills, NC; her niece Emily Perry, of Fayetteville, NC; two great nephews, Sean and Riley Whalen, of Hope Mills, NC; and extended family in Abingdon, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hope Mills First Baptist Church Vision Fund 2012. Visitation from 6 to 8 pm tonight at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills. Services Friday at 1 pm at Hope Mills First Baptist Church, 4621 Cameron Rd, Hope Mills followed at 2 pm with internment at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
