

Bill loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, good food, sitting in his recliner and watching TV. He was happiest when he was with his family, but even happier when he had his family and a fishing pole in his hand. Bill was a workaholic and was still working with Valiant at Womack Medical Center.
Bill is preceded in death by his son Donald Roy Klingel; his parents, Edward and Mary Green Klingel; and his brother, Edward L. Klingel Jr. He is survived by his son, Christopher David Klingel; his daughter, Mary Ellen Stokes and her husband, Berkley Stokes; his brother, John D. Klingel; his sisters, Sandra P. Decker, Kathleen Jackson and her husband, Howard W. Jackson Jr., and Bettyann Machin and her husband, Richard Machin; his partner, Janet Polk and her children, Tammy Wilson and her husband, Adriene Wilson, Benny Gonzales, and Joshua Polk and his wife, Corena Polk. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, including the youngest Chloe Wilson, who is 18 years old and never did anything wrong.
A visitation for William will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, P.O. Box 64, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 3308 N Main St, P.O. Box 64, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A burial will occur Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
A repass will be held after the burial at the home of Tammy Wilson at 6024 Iverleigh Circle Fayetteville, NC 28311.
