A Korean War veteran, Mr. Walden spent most of his life in the furniture business.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Perry Lee Walden, mother Myrtle, father Tommy, and sisters Betty Hammond and Margie Hood.
Mr. Walden is survived by his daughters Karen Walden of Fort Mill, SC, Ginger Jinnette (Jim) of Greensboro NC, and Tammi May (Harry) of Fayetteville NC, and his companion, Shirley Mitcheltree of Austin, TX. Nine grandchildren and nine great Grandchildren.
The family will have a private graveside service on November 24, 2015 at 1pm at LaFayette Cemetery in Fayetteville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fort Mill History Museum at 107 Cleburne St. Fort Mill, SC. 29715 in Mr. Walden's honor.
