Alan Lyle Rich, age 87, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019. He was born on September 14, 1931 in Holt, Michigan, to Cecil and Bernice Rich. On October 18, 1958, Alan married Joan Morley Rich, and resided in Elgin, Illinois.
He was a retired sergeant of the Kane County Illinois Sheriff’s department.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Rich; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Stefani Rich, and Larry and Nikki Rich; and two granddaughters, Rachel and Brittany, all of Illinois.
Alan requested no formal visitation or service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Gross Funeral Home.
