Growing up in Amity, Arkansas, Charles loved to ride his bicycle up and down the streets so much, in fact, that people nicknamed him “Bicycle Charlie.” He would later be known to all of his family and friends as “Uncle Charlie.” Many of those close friends and family remember playing with him at the park as kids where Charlie would spin the merry-go-round for everyone as they exclaimed “faster, Charlie, faster!” And, boy, did he deliver! He enjoyed music and had a very extensive album collection including artists such as Willie Nelson, Conway Twitty, and many more he collected throughout the years. Along with listening to music, Charlie loved to sing and play guitar for any who would listen. He also loved the outdoors and had a fondness for animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Thomas Lamb, Sister Polly Alexander, and nephews Paul and David Alexander.
He is survived by his siblings Betty Henthorn, Bobby Lamb, and lots of caring nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
