Charles "Buddy" Stevens

Buddy Charles Stevens passed away quietly on January 8th, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Jessie Terry, and George Stevens; his beloved wife, Lillie Burroughs Stevens; and his son, Russell Stevens. He is survived by his son, Terry C. Stevens of Bedford, Indiana; granddaughters, Tana Aubrey (Denny), Tiffany Stevens of Bedford, Indiana, and Stephanie Stevens of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brother, Don Terry (Elsie) of Hot Springs Village; sister, Brenis Jones (Paul) of Anderson, South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jaylin, and Ethan Aubrey; and his longtime friend and cousin, Paul Hamilton. Buddy retired from General Motors in Indiana after serving for over 30 years. He was a member of Leonard Street Baptist Church of Hot Springs, an avid hunter, fisherman, and bird lover. The family would like to thank the staff of National Park Medical Center and The Pines Nursing and Rehab for their genuine love and care. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00pm, Sunday January 11th, 2015 in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 Monday, January 12th, 2015 in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Hunt officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Morning Star Cemetery.
