Danny Joe Yates, age 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Village Springs Health and Rehab in Hot Springs, AR. He was born in Hot Springs on September 4,1950. Danny was a believer in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Danny worked as a long-distance truck driver most of his adult life. He was a friendly man and quick to laugh which earned him many friends locally and on the road. He also had a love for dogs and his favorite, “Mouse”, accompanied him on his many journeys. Danny had a genuine heart for giving which he displayed to all, but especially to his sister Betty, her children and grandchildren.
Danny is survived by his brother, Kenneth (Georgetta) Yates, sister Diania (Kenny) McKay, sister-in-law Kathy Yates, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is predeceased by his parents Dock and Mildred Yates, brothers George Yates and Don Yates and sister Betty Jean Walston.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Danny touched are welcome to attend the Memorial graveside service on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Shed Cemetery, Steve, Arkansas.
