

Dennis P. Wild departed this world on August 7th, 2023. Born November 15th, 1941, in Cleveland, OH, to parents Glenn and Celia Wild. A devoted Father, Grandfather, and friend to many; Dennis was known for his hearty laughter and warm, welcoming smile. His quick wit and generous spirit made him a cherished friend, always ready to share a drink and a story.
A dedicated Veteran, his commitment to his country was exemplified by his 20 years of service in the United States Air Force, including two valiant tours of duty in Vietnam. His dedication and bravery earned him medals of distinction and he retired honorably as a Master Sargent in 1982.
After his military career, Dennis embarked on new journeys enjoying a lengthy career with computers. His love for adventure took him to Germany several times reliving his family’s heritage which he proudly displayed through the many steins that lined his bar at home. Retiring in Arkansas, Dennis found solace in restoring vintage automobiles to their former glory.
His eldest son Shawn passed in 2018 which affected him deeply, and his beloved wife Audre Lang-Wild passed in 2020. With sadness in his heart, he continued to face life's challenges with resilience and love.
Dennis is survived by his loving children, Caryn and Joseph, Grandsons Lance and Zack, beloved great-grandchildren, and cherished friends and neighbors.
A private memorial is to be held to honor and celebrate Dennis. He will be remembered as a man who dedicated his life to both his country and his loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of honor, laughter, adventure, and friendship. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests contributions be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
