Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Turnbull, 61, of Hot Springs went home to the Lord while peacefully sleeping in the comfort of her own bed. She was welcomed home by her husband, William Robert “Scooter” Turnbull; daughter, Melissa Turnbull; and by her father, William Ferrel Triplett.
A member of Mountain Pine Church of Christ and The 3 Sisters Cross Stitch Club, Beth’s hands always seemed to be busy- whether she was praying or stitching. Those hands also loved to garden; being outside- camping, picnicking, or enjoying nature were some of Beth’s best times. Autumn, Beth’s favorite season, brought Halloween, scary movies, candy and lots of great memories with her family. And it was her family which brought her the most joy.
Cherishing her memory will be her sons, Brandon and Derek (Dana) Turnbull; grandchildren, McKenzie Hamilton, Brandon Turnbull, Brooklyn (Cory) French, Arika (Jason) OWEN, and Scott Vaughn; great-grandson Jordon French; siblings, Bill (Debi) Triplett, Jo (Tim) Weaver, Lisa Triplett, and Amy (Maynard) Anderson; eleven nieces and nephews; and by her mother, Helen Ruth Triplett, who knew her from the beginning.
A visitation for "Beth" will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm at Gross Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10am with a committal at Sweet Home Cemetery to follow.
Serving as pallbearers are David Triplett, Aaron Triplett, Clint Weaver, Josh Weaver, Jonah Weaver, Jacob Weaver, Charles Hackney, Travis Anderson and David Turnbull.
