

Survivors include his wife Terri, a daughter Becky Shook and husband Edward, three grandchildren, Ethan, McKinley and Peyton Shook, and his brother Carl and wife Phyllis.
Latt graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1970, where he was President of his senior class. He then attended the University of Arkansas where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity and the Razorback Golf Team.
After graduation, in 1974, he entered the University of Arkansas School of Law and graduated in 1977 with his Juris Doctorate. He practiced law in Hot Springs for forty-four years.
Latt loved Hot Springs and his community. He was a member of the Lakeside School Board where he was President; a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Hot Springs Chamber Of Commerce where he served as Chairman; President of the Board of the Metro Partnership. He served as a Board member of the United Way and Quapaw House Rehabilitation. Past Member of Downtown Rotary Club and Fifty for the Future. He served as Regional President of Summit Bank, now OZK, and Reliance Bank.
Golf was the sport for Latt! He loved his many years of playing at the Hot Springs Country Club where he served as President of the Board.
He was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church of Hot Springs which was very special to him. He was a member of the Board of Trustees from 1995-2016, Where he served as President. A member of the Finance Committee and the Board of Trustees of the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church from 2012-2016.
Funeral service will be held at First United Methodist Church on May 18, 2023. At 11:00 am with Rev. JJ Galloway and Rev. David Wilson officiating.
