Harold Jagger Mannis, 15, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 20th, 2024. He was born in Hot Springs on March 27th, 2009, and lived in Little Rock until making his home Hot Springs in 2014. He is survived by his loving parents Josh and Jessica Brown, sister Maddie Brown, devoted grandparents Carolyn and Rick Gammill, great grandmother affectionately known as “Nanny”, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his biological father Jordan Brader and his maternal grandfather Harold C. Mannis.
Jagger was a current student at Cutter Morning Star Schools, but in true Jagger fashion, he made his way across town over his years to befriend any and every one possible. He made quite the robust contact list that spanned across the community. Jagger never met a stranger and managed to make a friend everywhere he went. His light shone so brightly and intensely it was impossible to ignore and impactful for all in his path. He would immediately flash you his gorgeous smile and turn on the charm. He loved to laugh and had an unforgettable charisma and sense of humor that would draw you in and would always try to find a way to make you smile along with him. Jagger was incredibly resourceful, intuitive, intelligent, and loved people very deeply and would reassure you with his support time and time again with his short phrase of “I gotchu”. He deeply valued his family, friends, and fun.
Jagger was a lover and connoisseur of a great many things including but not limited to his go to comfy wear of hoodies, pajama pants, and crocs. He had a love and appreciation for music that spanned all decades and genres. He had a knack for creating playlists that would go from Marvin Gaye to Zach Bryan and wind up with Journey to which he loved to sing at the top of his lungs. He absolutely loved junk food and was especially fond of chips, frozen chicken nuggets, ramen noodles and just about anything he could put in his fry daddy. He was, shall we say, a bit of a “pantry pirate” and would mix things together that didn’t sound very appealing but fervently insisted and encouraged a bite from you by saying “Nah, that’s gas, bruh! No cap.” He absolutely loved the game of basketball and was diligently intent on always having a fresh haircut and manicured eyebrows.
Jagger had a long list of loves and endearing qualities, but he made it clear that his first love beyond all things was a relationship with Jesus Christ. Jagger was a very active participant in the youth program at New Life Church in which he made a great many connections and relationships throughout his time with the program sharing his testimony. He also looked forward to every summer he got to spend at Brookhill Camp and forged a plethora of friendships and connections that spanned across Arkansas and surrounding states. The light that Jagger shared across the network he built will continue to shine through his story and the love he brought to all that knew him.
A private family burial will be held prior to the Celebration of Life at New Life Church on Saturday, August 24th, 2024, at 10:30 am with lunch to be provided immediately after by Bubba’s Catfish. The family requests to honor Jagger’s memory by wearing your favorite hoodie. Pallbearers include Braxton Schroeder, Logan Tankersley, Gabe Wilmath, Rage Broussard, Aiden Ellis, and Plyler Oseguera. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the New Life Church Youth Program, 300 Pakis St., Hot Springs, AR 71913
