Harry W. Pettit of Hot Springs, passed away on May 6, 2014. He was born December 5, 1921. “He has departed for that undiscovered land from whence born no traveler has ever returned.” He is looking forward to this land of lush golf courses; lakes that teem with fish; a grand slam bid once a week; an occasional daily double; and a great poker game every Friday night. He expects to be united someday with his family and friends. He is survived by his seven children and preceded in death by two brothers. He is a graduate BSME from Purdue University. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Hot Springs Bridge Club, DAV, and VFW. He will be cremated and buried in the Arlington National Cemetery. If desired send memorial to the VA Home Care, 1401 Malvern Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71901. God bless all. It was great to have lived. Guest register at www.grossfuneralhome.com
