

He was born in New Hope, AR, on September 4, 1936, to the late Estel and Irene Bissell.
Jerald was an avid hunter and outdoors man. He retired from Auto Parts and Bearings, in Hot Springs after 40 years. He was known in the automotive and racing communities as one of the top mechanics in Hot Springs for many decades.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, his wife Joyce Bissell, his sister and brother-in-law Charlene (Joe) Story, brother-in-law Waldo Knight, great grandsons Nicholas Cobb and Kevin Burke.
He leaves behind his children Larry (Carolyn) Bissell, Debora (Stan) Sharp, April (Vince) Miller and Janet Bissell and significant other Chris Emrick all of Hot Springs. One sister-in-law Margaret Knight of Warren, IN.
Grandchildren Manessa (Michael) Martinez, Sarah Minyard, Tim (Erin) Bissell, Caitlyn Hamel, William Miller, Jeremy Miller and his fiancé Sydney Kelliher, Renea (Kenny), Chrisman, David Outler all of Hot Springs, Patricia Outler of Austin, AR., Charissa George and her fiancé David Donaldson of Vian, OK., Christopher Emerick of TX. And Ashely Emrick of Oklahoma City, OK.
25 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
