He worked for the city of Hot Springs as the Utilities Store Room Manager for 37 years. He loved sports and was an avid Razorback fan. He is a graduate from Cutter Morning Star, and he attended Henderson State University.
Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Susan Merriott; sister Jan (Bobby) Andry; niece Julie (Sean) Andry Casey; nephew Jason (Valerie) Andry; great-nephews, Holden and Asher; great-nieces, Hadley, Hayden, Hensley, and Kenley; and numerous loving friends.

A Celebration of Jimmy Lee (Boog) Merriott’s Life will be held at Gross Funeral Home on Friday, March 25, 2016, at 1:00 p.m.
