Joy Lucille Collier

Joy Lucille Collier, 86, of Mountain Pine, AR passed away, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones, on Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was born on February 6, 1938, to the late Henry and Ethyl Poor (Tunner).

Joy was a kind a beautiful soul. She had a deep love for the outdoors specifically gardening. If she saw a plant on the side of the road that she liked she would stop, scoop it up, and bring it back home to nurture in her own garden. She grew anything from vegetables to flowers, to whole trees! She also enjoyed traveling to new places and camping.

Joy was a Southern Baptist and loved to worship the Lord.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so many.

Joy is preceded in death by her late husbands Cliffton Carver and Tim Collier; parents; daughter Connie Woodall; and 5 brothers.

She is survived by her son Clifton Carver; siblings Shirley, Trish, Brenda, and Henrietta; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and 1 more on the way!; she also leaves several nieces, nephews, and several family members in Oklahoma.

Services will be held at a later date.
