

Louis F. Kleinman, 75, of Hot Springs passed away Saturday, October 27th, 2018 with his loving family by his side. He was born November 14th, 1942 in Hot Springs to Walter and Helen Falk Kleinman.
Louis was a very loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend to many. After graduating from Hot Springs High school in 1960, Mr. Kleinman moved to Georgia Tech, where he would earn a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. He was very active in his community, as Hot Springs was very dear to him. He was president of The B’nai Brith of Hot Springs and Dallas, Congregation House of Israel, served as Presidents of the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, Levi Towers and Ouachita Mental Health Center and leaves an enormous impact and legacy with the National Park Rotary Club where he also served as president. He was the well-known owner of Falk Supply Company, but also operated The Tool Source, Arkansas Welding, and SouthPark Shooping Center.
Cherishing his memory are his wife of 49 years, Betty Barenblat Kleinman; and children, Andrea Kleinman-Parker (Jason), Ira Kleinman (Stephanie), and Rachel Gordon (Adam). His Grandchildren (and lights of his life) are Reece and Evan Parker, Westley and Jacob and Zev Kleinman, and Elin, Asher, and Milo Gordon. Also surviving him are his sister, Janet Daniel, several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
The family is especially grateful to Deborah and Clarence Reddick for all of the love and great care given to Louis.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 at Congregation House of Israel-Hot Springs with Rabbi Shelly Kleinman officiating. Burial will follow at Jewish Rest Cemetery.
