Mae Ruth Steed, 98, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
She was born December 27, 1923 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to the late Solomon Maxwell & Agnes (Meidel) Marsh.
Mae was a music lover who could play the guitar & piano by ear, and was a patron of the Arkansas Symphony. She was naturally a humane person, and an animal lover. Everyone who knew her loved her, as she never met a stranger. Mae was a member of St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Steed, daughter Holly Christine Steed Hudson and infant son Perry Steed.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Steed Hisel; son-in-law, Vernon Hudson; granddaughters Annette Millsap Roomsburg & Lainey Millsap Howard; great-grandchildren, Matthew Roomsburg, Holly Roomsburg and Brittney Beverly; and a great-great-granddaughter Bianca Beverly.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Amarillo, Texas.
