Mary K Cox

Mary was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ann Morehouse, and her Aunt Liz Thomas.

Mary is survived by her long time boyfriend, Cody Williams, of 13 years. Mary was & will always be a part of The Williams Family (Joe, Evelyne, Joey, Julie, J.T., & Jake). She is also survived by her sisters, Leigh Fazio and Addie Cox, as well as her foster mother, Melinda Wood, foster brother, Brian Wood, and her Aunt Lori Pizel. It cannot go without saying that she had a best friend, Jackie “Jackpot” DeLoach whom she considered closer than a sister. There are countless others who were near and dear to her heart but just too many to name.

To know Mary was to love her. We wish she was here with us today to see this & to know that she was loved by so many. She had an infectiously beautiful smile that was sly but could light up a room! Despite the darkness within her, she was beautiful inside & out!! Boy, look out when she got all dolled up! She would drop you dead in your tracks! Of course, she could be loud & obnoxious. And in true womanly fashion, take forever to get ready & always late!

If you ever had the pleasure of eating her cooking well then you should consider yourself blessed. She had quite the talent for whipping up a mighty tasty meal or dessert! She & Cody were such foodies!! Now, if you ever were lucky enough to eat one of her cheesecakes then you should consider yourself a close friend or even family!

She was quite witty & loved a good movie quote!! Mary also liked to party & have a good time! She loved to laugh & tell a good joke (if she could remember it all the way to the end.) Mary never met an animal she didn’t love, especially a very “special” raccoon named Rocket. Mary loved deeply & made connections wherever she could. She will forever be known as Uncle Mary by one special little boy in her life. And for the final time, “No Mary, Joey doesn’t want a deviled egg!”
