

Matthew Wallace, age 62, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Matthew was born on April 29th, 1963, in Corvallis, Oregon to Therese "Teri" DeNeal Wallace and Douglas Franklin Wallace.
He earned his RN degree from National Park Community College in the early 1990s and dedicated many years to caring for others as an ICU nurse.
In the early 2000s, he transitioned into a new chapter as a radio show host, where he quickly became a well-known voice in the community. His passion for music and conversation shone through on air, and he had the opportunity to interview both local talents and national celebrities. His love for live music took him to countless concerts, where he connected with many big-name artists. Over the years, he built a unique and treasured collection of personalized memorabilia that reflected his deep appreciation for the music industry and the people within it.
In addition to his nursing and radio careers, he worked hard marketing the family business Gold and Mineral Diggers.
Matthew is survived by his 4 sons, Douglas (Amanda) Wallace, Thomas Wallace, Hunter (Ashlynn) Wallace, and Gregory Wallace, as well as his granddaughter Bailey Wallace and grandson Cameron Wallace who is expected to arrive January 2026.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Therese "Teri" DeNeal Wallace and his father Douglas Franklin Wallace.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service. Matthew asked to be cremated, and for his ashes to be spread in the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica Beach in Los Angeles, California.
