Neal is preceded in death by his father, Gary Reynolds; grandparents, Robert and Doris Reynolds and James and Wanda Jackson; and uncle, Terry Reynolds. He is survived by his mother Marie Bell (Rick) of Hot Springs; sister Leslie Penix (Ben), nieces Madeline and Mary Hollis and nephew Graham, all of Fayetteville; uncle Larry Reynolds of Benton; aunts Brenda Reams (Bill) of Siloam Springs and Sue Adams (Al) of Nashville, TN and cousins Zac Adams, Jamie Gayler (Justin), Michael Adams (Erik), Williams Reams (Katie), and Devin Reynolds (Karlie).
Neal was born in Pine Bluff on October 1, 1985; graduated from Pine Bluff High School and was a member of First Baptist Church. He then attended the University of Arkansas.
Neal was a talented athlete and played on many sports teams including baseball, basketball and soccer. Some of his most cherished memories were made on the baseball field with friends from T- Ball through his time playing in High School being coached by Billy Bock. He was given the nickname “Neighborhood” by a childhood coach and it stuck throughout his entire baseball career. He was an exceptional pitcher and made every game exciting. His best childhood memories were spent duck hunting with his dad, fun days eating out and shopping with his mom, having his grandparents cheering him on at all his sporting events, spending time with his aunts and uncles and making home movies with all his cousins.
Most recently, his favorite time was spent playing catch with his nephew and being with his nieces, whom he adored and loved. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, having his mom help him decorate his home and fixing anything for friends and family, which earned him the nickname MacGyver. He had a big heart, made friends wherever he went and loved his family.
Neal is loved and will be forever in our hearts.
