Pat Coyle

Pat Foster Coyle, age 83, of Hot Springs passed away on Thursday April 10, 2025; she was born July 29.1941 in Auburn, Alabama to Cecil C. (Pete) Foster and Marie (McClain) Foster. Pat was a Christian and a member of Gardner United Methodist United Church.

Pat taught school in Arkansas and Texas for 44 years, the last 6 years at National Park College. Her hobbies were numerous, including collecting various things, such as stamps, coins, campaign memorabilia, and toys; but the hobby she enjoyed most was gardening.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Angie Van Zuylen; brother, Don Foster; stepmother, Hazel Foster.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Ava Van Zuylen and son in-law John Van Zuylen; nephew, Dean (Carla) Foster and their 5 children, Casey, Kelsey, Hayley, Sydney and Elijah; cousin, Jim Scott and his daughter, Cathie Bergfels Brown and her children, Kirby and Braiden as well as dear friends, Sandra Hatton, Shirley Slaughterbeck, Alwana Evans, Katie Long, Karen Auten, Mary Loy, Betty Leith, Julie Bosson and Chris Slaughterbeck

Pat’s loved ones want to express their gratitude to Dierksen Hospice and Elijah's Senior Comfort Living.

A memorial service will be held at Gross Funeral Home on Tuesday April 22nd from 5pm - 7pm

Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Pat requested that contributions be made to St. Jude's Hospital in her memory. "Each Child makes a difference."
