Patricia Papacek

She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from Texas Wesleyan College in Ft Worth, Texas and spent most of her career teaching at Mount Saint Mary Academy in Little Rock.

Pat was an active member of her church home, St. Mary of the Springs, she loved traveling and enjoyed playing cards with her “Icky Friends.” In her retirement years, she could be found “burning up the road” attending events and babysitting the grandchildren she adored. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Billie Dale Merryman, and Emil Joseph “Pap” Papacek, Jr, her husband of 37 years.

She is survived by her children Amy Guresky (Peter) their three sons, Peter, Andrew (Mirna), their son Simon, and John Patrick; Nancy Papacek; Christopher Papacek and his children Alexandra and Carter. She is also survived by her brothers Milford “Mickey” Morris (Regena) and Oscar “Benny” Hamm (Barbara) and many other family members and friends whom she cherished.

Visitation at 9:00, /Rosary at 9:30 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00, on Saturday, August 31st, St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church, Hot Springs, AR.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church.
