Rilla was born February 10, 1941 in McKinney, Texas to the late William & Una Fay (Riley) Hooper.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years James Steven Thomas, Sr.
Rilla is survived by her 8 children; Vanessa Harrison of Oklahoma, Dwight Durham of Texas, Valerie Durham of Oklahoma, Gaylon Durham of Texas, Debbie Durham of Texas, James Thomas, Jr. of Arkansas, Jennifer Thomas of Pennsylvania and Jenae Hibbard of Texas, as well as a legacy of 90 plus grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held for Rilla at a future date in North Texas.
