He was born to Jackson M. and Audrey A. (Walker) Watts in Pine Bluff, Ark. He graduated from Watson Chapel in 1955, and married his sweetheart, Betty Swaim in 1956.
He was an Army veteran who served in Korea in the 1960s. He retired to Hot Springs, Ark., in 2005 with his wife and daughter after 46 years at Goodyear Tire & Rubber.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Helen and Mary; and is survived by his wife, Betty, of 65 years; daughter, Cindy Faulk; brothers and sisters-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews, and chosen children in Christ.
The viewing is from 6-8 p.m. on July 5 at Gross Funeral Home and the funeral is at 10 a.m. on July 6 with graveside service at the VA Cemetery in Little Rock at 1 p.m.
