Rusty or as I knew him, Grandad was my friend. Everything about this man will be missed from his warm moaning hugs, his fierce big brother protective nature and his generous heart, to his slick little side smile or goofy sounds he'd make while playing Farkle. I will always be grateful to have known Grandad and had the pleasure of being able to call him my friend now and always. 

I wanted to express my condolences to the family of Rusty.
Having known Rusty for many years through his work at Falk Supply, I very much enjoyed and appreciated our relationship.  Working and dealing with Rusty was always a pleasure. He will be missed. 
My prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

I only knew Rusty for five years and  he always had THE BEST hugs. He was very gentle and gracious with animals as well. He holds a special place in my heart…

Rusty was a great friend and co-worker.  Always upbeat and a pleasure to be around.  He was always willing to help.  I'll miss you, Rusty, as will all who knew you.

There are too many memories,  trying to pick a few is hard. Rusty aka granddad,  was such a great friend to many.  From the many weekends we all spent in the pool on Quail Creek,  to our move to the country,  where he parked his motorhome and came out on weekends.  Camping trips,  fishing in south Louisiana, musicfest at Camp Clearfork, the list goes on and on. He always called us his family.  He was the most generous,  kind hearted person anyone could imagine.  4 wheeling over the mountain,  hunting, playing farkle and pool. We will miss him so much ! There will never be another "grandad ".  Gone way too soon. We love you, hope you hear us, that's the last words you said to us. You may rest in total peace now

There are so many things that Rusty has done for me over the years, both personally and professionally, that there isn't room to name them all.  The first time I met him in person, he had taken a day off work and came to Little Rock to help me move.  That was above and beyond but I'm not surprised he did it.  Rusty had a heart of gold and he will be missed every day.  
So very sorry for the loss of this sweet friend.
