Steve was a member of Mensa and a lifetime student. He had a genius IQ and was always eager to learn. Steve loved history, reading and playing games to challenge the mind like Scrabble and chess. Steve spent 10 years as a Sky Lab Technician Satellite Tracker on Ascension Island, a British overseas territory in the southern Atlantic Ocean, 7 miles south of the equator. He was also a Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry; sons, Marc Green (Kathy), Randy Appleberry (Lisa), sister, Melody Galvan(Steve); brothers, Matt and Jerry Ryan; grandchildren, William Green, Joshua Sorrells and great grandchildren Savannah Martin, Heather Martin, and Benjamin Cockman.
