Thomas Grady Christner, born January 13, 1943, passed away on December 12, 2025. He grew up in Mannington, West Virginia and graduated from West Virginia University before retiring from a successful career as a chemical engineer.
In his early life Tom enjoyed coaching his children’s youth sports teams. Tom was a faithful attendee of Balboa Baptist Church and Coronado Baptist Church and was known for his love of life, often found on the dance floor at Oaklawn or The Arlington, on the golf course, or playing in the local men’s horse basketball league.
He is survived by his sisters, Sue Cozzolino and Judith Becraft; his children, Kevin Christner, Kathy Angus, Karen Christner, and Keith Christner; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
