William Charles “Billy” Waldrop, 54, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on January 8, 2026, at his home. He was born on January 15, 1971, in Peoria, Illinois.
Billy spent the majority of his life on the open road as a long-haul truck driver. He truly loved to drive and was proud to have traveled through all 48 contiguous states. With a deep appreciation for nature, his journeys allowed him to capture many beautiful photographs of the landscapes he encountered across the nation.
Billy was a graduate of Lakeside High School in Hot Springs and was a member of First Baptist Church of Hot Springs. Above all, he was a loving son who cherished his mother dearly and held his family close to his heart.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Donna Waldrop; his daughter, Alyssa Waldrop; his granddaughter, Lexa; his brothers, Scott and Kevin Waldrop; his uncle, Bill Danley; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom he loved deeply.
