Al Jerome ""Tootaroo"" James, 11, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Saturday, June 1, 2013. Visitation will be from 9:00-2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Houma, and from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bayou Blue Assembly. Burial will follow in Blue Lily Cemetery in Shriever. He is survived by: his mother, Tabitha Tillman and stepfather, Gerald Francisco; two brothers, Alvin James and Deronte Tillman; step-brother, Al Craig; six sisters, Tanesha, Tamiesha, Alexis, and Tanaya Tillman, Aljanna James, and Chasity Mart; step-sisters, Cierra and Daniella Craig; grandparents, Debbie and Irvin Richaurd; Donald Tillman, Sr.; great grandmother, Lillie Mae Green,. He was preceded in death by: his father, Al Jerome James, Sr.; and his paternal grandparents, Tracy and Jenny Brook-James, Gertrude and Joseph Tillman,Sr. Jones Funeral Home of Houma, 6775 West Park Ave., Houma, LA 70364 in charge of arrangements.
